GOATARMA™ TECHNOLOGY
GoatArma™ integrates proprietary technologies across vision, AI, communications, power, advanced materials, and powered hand protection into a unified adaptive platform.
Core Technologies
Eight proprietary systems form the foundation of the GoatArma™ protection platform. Each technology is designed as a modular component that communicates with the others through a unified data and power architecture.
BioLock™
Verified Dual-Mode SystemPhysical discrimination between protective armor modules and training-load modules. Electronic authentication and orientation sensing verify installed configuration before the system reports a protected state. Training modules occupying a protection slot cause the system to withhold the verified green status.
Patent Application PlannedFlexScale™
Adaptive Armor GeometryClosed-loop sensor system detects whether ballistic modules have departed from their defined protective positional envelope. Controllable carrier-tension elements restore and maintain coverage while permitting respiration and normal motion. Activity-specific envelopes adapt to running, standing, seated, and vehicle modes.
Patent Application PlannedArmor Passport™
Cryptographic Protection-State EngineAuthenticated physical armor identity combined with measured installation, exposure, and impact history. Model-specific validity rules determine whether each module may satisfy the current verified protection state. Counterfeit detection, mandatory inspection states, and fleet synchronization built in.
Patent Application PlannedSenseSkin™
Pressure & Impact MonitoringDistributed pressure and strain sensor network embedded in the carrier chassis. Detects edge lift, tilt, migration, and impact events across the entire protection envelope. Real-time data feeds FlexScale for positioning correction and Armor Passport for lifecycle logging.
Sensor NetworkCoolGrid™
Ventilation ArchitectureEngineered ventilation channels and 3D spacer mesh positioned in non-ballistic zones. Designed to provide thermal management without compromising protection coverage. Ventilation adjustment permitted only when coverage validation remains active.
Thermal ManagementPower Core™
Configuration-Aware Distributed PowerThe controller identifies the actual authenticated protective configuration, computes different power priorities and reserve requirements from that configuration, and upon disconnection or failure automatically transitions into a predefined survival state using independent reserve power while shedding lower-priority loads.
Patent Application PlannedEarthShield™
Advanced Materials PlatformMulti-layer composite material architecture combining high-performance ballistic fibers with next-generation energy-absorbing structures. Every material is selected for a specific role in the protection chain. Sustainable manufacturing and recycled materials prioritized where performance allows.
Materials ScienceNODE™
Removable Electronics ModuleSelf-contained electronics package that can be removed from the carrier without affecting the ballistic protection. Houses BioLock controller, Armor Passport processor, SenseSkin hub, and communication interfaces. Keeps all GoatArma electronics outside the certified armor package.
Modular ElectronicsArchitecture Note
GoatArma™ electronics are deliberately kept outside the certified ballistic layup. This separation reduces both patent and certification complexity. The OEM-certified armor package remains unmodified; GoatArma's intelligence layer rides the carrier chassis and can be independently updated, replaced, or removed.
GoatArma Mitt™ Technologies
The GoatArma Mitt is a modular powered protective gauntlet combining extreme hand protection, powered grip assistance, environmental sensing, and rescue-grade capability. Seven proprietary subsystems work together.
PowerGrip™
Powered Grip AssistancePressure sensors detect the user's natural grip and powered tendons with micro-actuators assist it. Five software profiles: Natural, Endurance, Hold, Precision, and Rescue. Dramatically reduces forearm fatigue during sustained gripping, lifting, pulling, and tool operation.
Powered Assist 5 ProfilesGoatShield™
Articulated Hand ArmorOverlapping armor segments from fingertip through knuckle to wrist. Armadillo-scale architecture: outer abrasion layer, impact-dispersing polymer, cut-resistant textile, puncture-resistant zones, comfort/ventilation layer, and electronics/sensors. ANSI/ISEA 138 back-of-hand impact protection target.
Articulated Multi-layerGoatLock™
Sustained Grip SystemOnce a secure grasp is established, the tendon system maintains the grip while forearm muscles relax. The user commands the grip; GoatArma maintains it. Applications: construction, rescue, climbing, warehouse, maritime, mechanics, and people with reduced grip strength.
Sustained HoldGripSkin™
Replaceable Palm ModulesInterchangeable palm surfaces optimized for specific conditions. StreetSkin for everyday use, WetGrip for rain and marine, OilGrip for mechanical work, ClimbGrip for rope and climbing, HeatGrip for hot environments, PrecisionGrip for fine tool handling. Replace the skin, not the glove.
6 Variants ReplaceableSafeRelease™
Safety Disengage SystemForce sensors, finger-position sensors, and software limits prevent uncontrolled squeezing. Automatically disengages when dangerous forces, finger snagging, or loss of control are detected. Prevents the powered glove from injuring its own wearer. Critical safety architecture differentiating GoatArma from generic powered gloves.
Auto-disengage Safety CriticalThermal Touch™
Surface Temperature DetectionThe Mitt detects surface temperature before the user fully contacts an object. Data feeds directly to the CapraHelm™ HUD: PIPE SURFACE / 284°F / DO NOT TOUCH. Prevents burns from hot equipment, identifies heat sources in rescue scenarios, and alerts to dangerously cold surfaces.
Pre-contact SensingGrip HUD™
Visual Grip FeedbackReal-time grip data displayed on the CapraHelm™: grip force percentage, assist level, load weight, slip risk. The helmet and Mitt operate as one integrated product. Includes haptic navigation via individual finger vibrations for silent directional guidance.
HUD Integration Haptic NavEngineering Note: PowerGrip Is Real Technology
Powered grip assistance is not speculative. Bioservo's Ironhand uses pressure sensors in the hand and fingers, motors, and artificial tendons to amplify the wearer's natural grasp. GoatArma's differentiation is the integration of powered grip with articulated impact/cut/puncture armor, environmental sensing, and ecosystem connectivity. Features no existing powered glove combines.

Tier Strategy: Same Platform, Different Loadout
All three tiers share the same CapraLink connector standard, CapraCore mounting interface, and CapraOS software stack. Upgrading from Consumer to Prosumer or Military means swapping modules — not buying a new system. This modular approach lets us serve range-day enthusiasts and special operations with the same architecture.

Recycled DWRProtection Standards
GoatArma™ references recognized testing standards for every protection claim. Products commonly described as "bulletproof" are more accurately called ballistic-resistant. Protection depends on the tested threat level and exact armor model.
Ballistic Resistance. HG2
The current NIJ standard for body armor. HG2 is the highest handgun soft-armor tier, succeeding former Level IIIA. Testing includes 9mm FMJ at 1,470 ft/s and .44 Magnum JHP at 1,430 ft/s. First Compliant Products List published June 23, 2026.
Stab & Spike Resistance
Separate protection classes for Edged Blade and Spike threats. Level 1 uses 24 J test energy with 36 J over-test, positioned for generally concealable armor. Ballistic protection does not automatically mean stab protection.
Cut Resistance. A1 through A9
Classifies cut performance from A1 through A9, with A9 representing 6,000+ grams. Also covers abrasion and puncture. CapraMitts™ targets A9 for the high-protection model.
Back-of-Hand Impact Protection
Specifically for dorsal hand protection covering fingers and knuckles. Gives CapraMitts™ a quantitative testing target rather than vague "armored glove" marketing.
LE/Corrections Glove Performance
Covers cut, puncture, needle-stick, abrasion, and tear performance for protective gloves used by law-enforcement and corrections officers. A natural certification roadmap for CapraMitts™ Military variant.
Wearing Apparel Flammability
CPSC general flammability standard for clothing textiles. Class 3 (dangerously flammable) textiles are prohibited from apparel use. All GoatArma garments are subject to this standard.
Important: Certify the Configuration, Not the Material
A garment containing Dyneema, Twaron, or Kevlar-family fiber is not thereby "NIJ certified." NIJ evaluates specific body-armor models; compliant model designations appear on the Compliant Products List. GoatArma™ will state exact standard, model designation, protection class, and CPL status for every Capra™ protection claim. NIJ limb protection falls outside the 0101.07 scope; hand protection requires separate test protocols.
